Now I am a case study of one, so take it for what it is.but I have never had this issue and am a chronic saver, meaning I will have probably 100 or so saves in a single game file, and that is above and beyond all autosaves. So basically does anyone have a clue beyond what I've found, maybe another post that I missed? Everything I have found is from 2016 - 2018ish so hopefully someone has an idea on this one. Misc info: Win10 fully up to date, memtest comes back perfect. applicable to PC? Gonna try it while I wait for a response here. Went back two saves (20 min of game play) both issues fully resolved.Īfter more forum reviewing I found that this can happen to consoles if the game makes to many saves and it's suggested to delete all the bad and extra saves and only keep the last known good. Chatted with EA and they want me to flush my DNS Cashe which makes me sad, that was the only answer from them so *enough said*. Started the game up and I wasn't wearing a helmet while on the map, and was having random hangs which is a new one. Played for 5 hours without issue, quit for the night.

I reset EA's cache per another forum instruction, reinstalled my graphics driver through Nvidia Geforce Experience, repaired the game, and obviously started from last known good save ( at least without viewing the saved file data itself ).
This happened after I saved / quit and started playing the next day and yes I saved after dying so that seems to definitely be a commonality and my last save that wasn't corrupted was midway through Voled which also seems common.
This is in regards to the resetting the last several saves to level 1, removing all skills and abilities, and leaving you where you were in eg I was in an ark defending against attacks with no weapon. So I've seen several old posts regarding this and none that I have *found* have had a surefire solution and I'm hoping that someone has found a resolution or at least a workaround to prevent another 7 hours of game play loss.
